Redeem your story

Here at English Oaks Seventh Day Adventist Church , we know that everyone has a story. The beauty of the gospel is that no matter what your life's story is, Jesus has come to redeem it and give it another ending. That's why we proclaim that we can not stop speaking about what we have seen and heard!
Dear English Oaks family,

This past Sabbath Pastor Ernie presented "Hope". Advent means coming. The days before Christmas are often called Advent and are sometimes counted off with Advent Calendars beginning with the first of December and continuing until Christmas day. These days, especially for children, are days of hope. We are told that the ancients hoped and looked forward to a coming Messiah. Today, we still hope and look forward to our returning Redeemer who clearly told us, “I will come again.” In our next several worships, we will consider the hope we share in a coming Christ. We will remember that this coming, this Advent brings with it the promises of peace, love, and joy.
