Redeem your story

Here at English Oaks Seventh Day Adventist Church , we know that everyone has a story. The beauty of the gospel is that no matter what your life's story is, Jesus has come to redeem it and give it another ending. That's why we proclaim that we can not stop speaking about what we have seen and heard!

'Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. '

- Matthew 11:28

'in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”'

- John 16:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

- Matthew 6:33

Latest Sermon

 Dear English Oaks,

Pastor Ernie, Pastor Manny, and Pastor Janeen will be presenting this week's sermon called Witness of the Cross. The hymn asks, “Were you there when they crucified my Lord?” Of course, we were not in Jerusalem 2,000 years ago to observe the passion of Jesus. But through scripture we know the story. There were witnesses. Witnesses who were there and who told the story of what they saw. Now witnesses (The Greek word is martys) were those willing to stake their lives that what they saw and experienced was true. This Sabbath we will consider six “Witness of the Cross” and their story of the passion of Jesus. We were there because of their witness.
