When God Becomes Small

May 23, 2026    Pastor Manny Gonzales

Why does worship sometimes feel empty? Why does passion for God grow cold? Why do sin and compromise become easier to ignore? In Isaiah 6, the prophet is confronted with a breathtaking vision of God “high and lifted up,” surrounded by seraphim crying out, “Holy, holy, holy.” In that moment, Isaiah realizes how small his view of God had become—and how deeply he needed grace. This message explores how a low view of God leads to shallow worship, casual sin, and spiritual drift, while a true vision of God’s holiness changes everything. When God becomes small in our eyes, our faith shrinks with Him. But when we see Him as He truly is, awe, repentance, and transformation follow.
